DAY 1-3 / LOVRAN / OPATIJA

Upon arrival, check-in a hotel/villa.
Enjoy your stay:
– 3 nights in luxury double room with balcony and sea view, on bed and breakfast basis
– welcome drink, outdoor pool, free internet
– champagne in room, flower, fruit basket
– mediterranean massage for two
– wellness smoothie drink for two
– romantic dinner for two – 4 course meal (fish or meat menu)

– trip to hill house, tasting of „pršut“, cheese, with home made bread and olive oil, visit to labyrinth and antic cave
– tea and coffee (as much as you want)

Take a walk through beautiful city of Opatija – luxury villas make Opatija plume of world tourism since the mid-19th century. “Walk of Fame”, the Lungo Mare Promenade and the beautiful park of Villa Angiolina.

DAY 3-9 / MOTOVUN / ISTRIA

Transfer to Motovun.
Accommodation in historical center of town.

Motovun, a medieval town in the center of Istria, situated above the Mirna valley, is famous for its legend of the giant Veli Joze, as well as for the film festival, and well-known and valued mushrooms – truffles. Walk through the walls of the old city: the upper and lower doors, St. Stephens church.

We recommend you to explore Istria, Croatian biggest peninsula, with interesting small villages, full of legends, and interesting past influenced by Italians.

During your stay, we planned romantic trips through Istria.

– Visit to nearby village Livade, known by truffles.
You will see how specially trained dogs are searching for truffles, expensive and delicious mushrooms (also known as one of the most powerful aphrodisiacs), that are hidden underground. Truffle seeking demonstrations are held in a village about one kilometer far from restaurant. The demonstration is held in cooperation with one famous truffle family which has been involved in the truffle seeking business for many years.
Also, you will have tasting of fine Istrian specialties with truffles, and wine.

– Drive to Roč, place in the core center of Istria, known for its Glagolitic alphabet. A short tour of the place. Driving along Glagolitic alley, 7 km long road which makes 11 memorials, ten of which were made out of stone, and only the city gate made of copper. Visit to Hum, the smallest town in the world, getting to know the town. You will find out another interesting fact about our small, but amazing country – yes, we have our own alphabet!
Lunch at the tavern, where you will taste the most famous Istrian specialties and wine.
Since we want you to enjoy your honeymoon and your time in Croatia, lunch at Hum is our gift to you for the beginning of the rest of your life as husband and wife.
Visit to Beram, known by church in the wood with amazing frescoes from 15th century, Pazin with Istrian ethnographic museum.

– visit Rovinj and Poreč, known by its beauty and famous landmarks, such as church of Saint Euphemia in Rovinj, and Euphrasian basilica in Poreč.
Visit to interesting cave Baredine near Poreč, where you’ll see amazing “human fish” that lives in the underground water.
At last, visit to Štancija Špin, where you’ll enjoy in tasting amazing Istrian cheese, wine, and olive oil. Did you know that Istrian region is declared world’s best olive region in the world, two times in a row?
Of course, you will enjoy in delicious Istrian specialties.

– visit to Pula, is the largest city on the Istrian peninsula, one of the most important cities in Croatian history, and it has many antique Roman buildings, with Roman amphitheater, one of the best preserved amphitheatres in the world, as one of the most important monuments. The city attracts tourists with its rugged coastline, beautiful beaches and crystal clear sea, pleasant atmosphere in the town, with many cultural and historical sights, restaurants and souvenir shops. Visit amphitheater, and take a walk through city center, and on every step you’ll find monuments from Romans time.
After the tour, journey continues to the nearby town, Fažana. Departure for the National Park Brijuni. It consists of 12 islands and is one of the most beautiful archipelagos, with more than 700 plant species and a rich fauna. In the Gulf of chains on the eastern coast of Veli Brijun, the remains of the largest ancient residential complex in Istria. Visiting the island, accompanied by a local guide by electro-train and on foot.

Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
